JanTwo Thousand and Eleven
Two Thousand and een leven
(read N-layv'n in English)
To thou was sent an elevation,
To thou was sent a revelation.
If you grabbed on to your calling,
You are holding one hand with other people,
other destined nations,
While your other hand
stretches on to your destination!
To thou was sent an innovation:
A gift of life,
A seed of talent.
To thou was sent a liberation:
A path of peace,
A stint of pleasant.
True, though:
Ascend and be as relevant,
For thoughts do change,
And lives do change,
All because it's...
... true, though, assenting enlivens!
To descend, you must first ascend,
But once in the ascendancy,
Make it an asplendancy!
To those ends, a life,
To loose ends, an elevation,
To dissent, we send its marching orders!
Then we step on pardon parlor
to admit we're only humans
and to pray for better lives!
True, though, a stand is an elation,
So we must be able to build our nation,
Participate in and share our vocation,
In order to make the best of
our
Two Thousand and een leven!
True, is it not,
Though we stand on solid ground,
We live on an Earth with many others,
So we're automatically halving this ground!
True, is it not,
Though we spend a life together,
We, sometimes, don't encounter any roses,
Just another leaf, another thorn, another bother.
That is why
Truth, Thousand and a Life
must be born to us,
Reborn even, if so happens,
For we are the children of the Earth
too often playing kings and queens,
Forgetting we are students of the Earth,
Us, learners of the ever-changing,
ever-challenging,
And,
thus,
we all need,
still,
that new millennium dose
of
Truth, Thousand and a Life!
